Job summary

Solid Company is seeking a Data Platform Engineer to design and implement reliable data pipelines using Databricks and PySpark. The role focuses on building scalable data platforms, collaborating with clients, and improving performance and cost efficiency across hybrid work locations in Poland.

The ideal candidate will have strong software development experience, familiarity with BI tools like Power BI, and proficient English communication.

Job description

Requirements:

• Very good knowledge of data platform architecture;
• Practical experience in building solutions in Databricks using Python/PySpark (alternatively Microsoft Fabric or Azure Synapse);
• Experience in software development;
• Knowledge of Power BI or similar Business Intelligence tools;
• Very good command of English
• Communicative and open to teamwork

Additional advantages:

• Experience with platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or similar solutions;
• Experience in designing solutions based on data platforms;
• Experience with Microsoft technologies, including Azure, Azure cloud services, and .NET;
• Knowledge of AI-supported development environments, agentic programming techniques, and MCP (Model Context Protocol).
