Job summary

ITDS in Kraków offers a hybrid work model for a Senior Data Business Analyst role focused on data ingestion, data products, quality processes, and platform integrations with Google Cloud and Hadoop. Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in Business Analysis, ideally within data, data analytics, or data platform initiatives.
• Experience delivering change initiatives involving multiple internal and external organisations.
• Strong knowledge of data lifecycle and data architecture concepts.
• Experience working as part of an Agile technology delivery team.
• Practical experience working with databases, SQL, and Google Cloud Platform BigQuery.
• Experience developing solutions that integrate third-party data.
• Understanding of data architecture concepts.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage technical and business audiences at different levels of seniority.

Responsibilities

• Elicit and document requirements through interviews, workshops, document analysis, and business process reviews.
• Define project requirements and scope in close collaboration with business stakeholders.
• Communicate project progress, estimates, and updates to stakeholders and senior management.
• Analyse, manipulate, and document data, translating findings into technical specifications for data engineers.
• Support software delivery through analysis, testing, organisational, and project-administration activities.
• Facilitate brainstorming sessions, process mapping, Agile story mapping, and other collaborative delivery practices.
• Ensure requirements, process flows, solution designs, data definitions, lineage, and quality considerations are clearly documented and traceable.
• Produce high-quality business requirements, data dictionaries, source-to-target mappings, process flows, and user guides.

You will collaborate with data engineers, business stakeholders, and cross-functional delivery teams to translate complex business needs into scalable data solutions.
