Job summary

Sii Sweden AB söker en erfaren Senior Data Architect som ska leda en strategisk dataomvandling med Azure-baserad plattform. Du driver arkitektur, design och implementering av dataplattformen som stödjer arbetsuppgifter, analyser och rapportering över hela organisationen.

Du kommer att styra dataflöden, utveckla Data Products och migrera äldre lösningar till moderna Azure-lösningar, samtidigt som du säkerställer säkerhet, efterlevnad och arkitekturstandarder.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Senior Data Architect or a similar leadership role.
• Stark hands-on erfarenhet av Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Event Hub, Storage och Functions.
• Utmärkt kunskap om ETL/ELT, streaming, data integration och Medallion-arkitektur.
• Starka programmeringskunskaper i Python, Spark och SQL.
• Utmärkt engelska i tal och skrift.
• Besök till Wrocław-kontoret krävs en gång per kvartal.

Responsibilities

• Definiera och styr end-to-end Azure-datarkitektur inkl. ingestion, integration och transformation.
• Leda design och utveckling av skalbara Data Products samt vägleda team i ETL/ELT och dataintg.
• Driva modernisering av legacy-rapportering och datawarehouses, migrera till Azure.
• Ge arkitekturöversyn för SaaS/COTS-applikationer och säkerställa efterlevnad och teknisk anpassning.
• Samarbeta med intressenter och tekniska team för plattformsutveckling, säkerhet och revision.
• Bidra till plattformens evolution och stötta säkerhetsinitiativ.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Architect to join a strategic data transformation initiative focused on building and governing a modern Azure-based Data Platform that supports enterprise-wide data products, analytics, and reporting.

• Define and govern end-to-end Azure data architecture, including data ingestion, integration, transformation, and Medallion architecture standards
• Lead the design and development of scalable Data Products and guide engineering teams on best practices for ETL/ELT, streaming, and data integration
• Drive the modernization of legacy reporting and data warehouse solutions, including migration from SSIS and SSAS environments to modern Azure architectures
• Provide architectural oversight for supplier-managed SaaS/COTS applications, ensuring secure onboarding, compliance, and technical alignment
• Collaborate with stakeholders, suppliers, and technical teams to support platform evolution, security initiatives, and audit requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Senior Data Architect or in a similar architecture leadership role
• Strong hands-on expertise with Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Event Hub, Azure Storage, Azure Functions, and modern cloud data platforms
• Excellent knowledge of ETL/ELT frameworks, streaming technologies, data integration patterns, Medallion architecture, and Data Product design principles
• Strong programming and data engineering skills in Python, Spark, and SQL
• Very good command in English
• A visit to the Wrocław office is required once every quarter
