Hitachi Energy Poland SP. Z O.O. is hiring a Senior Test Automation Engineer (SDET) to ensure the quality of Azure-based data and analytics solutions.

You will design automated tests for data pipelines, warehousing, and BI reporting, collaborating with Data Engineers, BI Developers, and stakeholders to uphold data accuracy and scalability. The role focuses on building automated testing capabilities, validating ETL/ELT processes, and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines while supporting DataOps

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong experience in test automation, software quality engineering, or SDET roles.
• Solid programming skills in Python and experience with test automation frameworks, advanced SQL knowledge, and large-scale data environments.

Responsibilities

• Drive quality across Azure-based data and analytics platforms.
• Build and enhance automated testing capabilities for data pipelines and BI reporting.
• Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data throughout its lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify risks and improve solution reliability.
• Integrate testing activities into CI/CD processes and DataOps/TestOps practices.
• Promote a quality-first mindset within the Data & Analytics organization.
