Job summary

Grid Dynamics is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join an engineering initiative delivering high-value data solutions for a global leader in digital payments and fintech. You will work within a Grid Dynamics squad, partnering with Senior Java Engineers and a Data Engineer while collaborating with Belfast stakeholders as a nearshore hub leader.

You will architect scalable dashboards, drive AI analytics, translate complex financial data into strategic BI, and mentor team members to ensure data

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial experience in Data Analytics, BI, or Advanced Analytics.
• Expert-level PowerBI and Tableau skills with advanced DAX, LOD, RLS, and performance optimization.
• Proficient SQL for complex data extraction, aggregation, and data quality validation.
• Experience leading AI-driven analytics projects bridging engineering and business stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management, able to translate insights for non-technical audiences.
• Excellent English communication for daily collaboration with Belfast leadership.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related quantitative field.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and deploy complex dashboards using PowerBI/Tableau for strategic needs.
• Lead analytics initiatives within the squad, ensuring end-to-end data pipelines and performance.
• Drive AI analytics projects, integrating insights and automated workflows into dashboards.
• Translate complex financial problems into KPIs and executive recommendations.
• Own dashboard lifecycle from requirements to deployment and tuning.
• Mentor team members and advocate best practices in data visualization and accuracy.
