Job summary

HARMAN International is seeking an Incident Response Leader to own and drive enterprise cyber incident response. You will coordinate across Cyber Security Operations, IT, Legal, and Privacy, ensuring swift containment and effective recovery of security events.

You will develop playbooks, run tabletop exercises, and report on program maturity. The role reports to the Director of Cybersecurity Operations and requires strong communication with executives and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in cybersecurity, security operations, or incident response.
• Proven experience leading complex investigations and enterprise incident response.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end management of cybersecurity incidents from triage to recovery.
• Act as incident commander for major events coordinating technical and business teams.
• Develop and maintain incident response playbooks and escalation procedures.
• Coordinate activities across Cyber Security Operations, Infrastructure, Legal, Privacy and HR.
• Lead post-incident reviews and remediation efforts to strengthen security posture.
• Design and run incident response tabletop exercises and readiness assessments.
• Establish dashboards to measure incident response effectiveness and maturity.
