Job summary

ZF Group in Wrocław is looking for a Senior Commodity Buyer to develop and execute sourcing strategies for assigned commodities, ensuring cost-effective procurement and strong supplier performance. You will collaborate with engineering, quality, and operations teams to drive value and risk management across the supply base.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of procurement experience, excellent negotiation and analytics skills, and familiarity with global sourcing and cost modeling.

The Senior Commodity Buyer is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies for assigned commodities to ensure cost effective procurement, strong supplier performance, and effective risk mitigation. The role includes managing strategic supplier relationships, negotiating commercial terms, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to support business objectives.

In this position, you will contribute to commodity strategy development, analyze market trends, drive cost optimization initiatives, and support new product development. You will work closely with engineering, quality, and operations teams to ensure alignment across functions and continuous improvement in supplier performance.

• Experience with strategic sourcing methodologies and familiarity with cost modeling and total cost of ownership analysis - nice to have;
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment - nice to have;
• High Pressure Die Casting experience would be a plus;
