Job summary

Sii Poland in Kraków is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to contribute to the NOS project in a large-scale, multi-cloud setup. The role involves working with bare-metal servers, Kubernetes, and cluster-deployed apps, with a hybrid work model based in Cracow.

You will participate in the full development life cycle, manage lab hardware, and help ensure high quality, while collaborating with the team to design and implement new NOS platform features.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience in DevOps or system administration.
• Very good knowledge of Linux as a user and administrator.
• Strong understanding of computer networks and experience managing hardware, including servers and switches.
• Experience with Kubernetes and its ecosystem.
• Proficiency in Python, with experience in code development.
• Good knowledge of backend systems, including MariaDB/MySQL, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Very good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced level of Polish and English.

Responsibilities

• Participating in the full development cycle, from requirements gathering and specification to architecture, implementation, and system tests
• Managing hardware in the lab environment, including servers and switches
• Ensuring overall product quality assurance
• Maintaining existing code and troubleshooting issues
• Collaborating with team members to define and implement new features for the NOS platform
