Job summary

Sii Sp. z o.o. seeks an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Network Operation Suite development team in Kraków.

You will work on building a fully automated multi-cloud NOS platform, handling bare-metal servers, Kubernetes clusters, and apps across environments. Hybrid work model based in Cracow. Ideal candidates have extensive DevOps experience, strong Linux skills, and proficiency in Python and databases.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of professional DevOps or system administration experience.
• Strong Linux user and administrator skills.
• Solid networking knowledge with experience in servers and switches.
• Proficiency in Python and backend databases (SQL/NoSQL).
• Fluent Polish and English.

Responsibilities

• Participate in full development cycle from requirements to tests.
• Manage lab hardware including servers and switches.
• Ensure overall product quality assurance.
• Maintain existing code and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate to implement NOS platform features.

Job description

Nasze wymagania:

• Minimum 6 years of experience in DevOps or system administration
• Very good knowledge of Linux as a user and administrator
• Strong understanding of computer networks and experience managing hardware, including servers and switches
• Experience with Kubernetes and its ecosystem
• Proficiency in Python, with experience in code development
• Good knowledge of backend systems, including SQL databases (MariaDB/MySQL), NoSQL databases (MongoDB), and Elasticsearch
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
• Very good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Advanced level of Polish and English

Mile widziane:

• Experience with OpenStack
• Hands-on experience with Ceph
• Familiarity with contributing to architecture and design
• Previous work with CI/CD pipeline processes
• Expertise in deploying private cloud environments
• Experience developing software for telecommunication systems

O projekcie:

We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and participate in the development of the Network Operation Suite (NOS) project. This platform aims to build a fully automated system for Mobile Networks vRAN software installation and operation in a large-scale, distributed multi-cloud environment. You will have the opportunity to work with bare-metal servers, Kubernetes, and applications deployed on clusters, while contributing to the design of new features for a product already in use by customers. This role offers a hybrid work model based in Cracow.

Zakres obowiązków:

• Participating in the full development cycle, from requirements gathering and specification to architecture, implementation, and system tests
• Managing hardware in the lab environment, including servers and switches
• Ensuring overall product quality assurance
• Maintaining existing code and troubleshooting issues
