Job summary

Caesars Entertainment in Kraków, Poland is seeking a Cloud Core Platform Engineer to support developers, lower environments, and production systems. The role is hybrid with onsite presence in Kraków 1–2 days a week.

You will design, develop, and optimize complex features with the tech lead, build highly performant components, and ensure a secure, reliable platform while advancing frontend technologies and engineering excellence.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience developing infrastructure as code solutions.
• Experience delivering and/or maintaining large-scale multi-team platforms.
• Experience working in Kubernetes environments.
• Thorough understanding of Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS, and containers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize complex features along with the technical lead and solutions architect.
• Build and maintain performant components optimized for developers to deliver world-class applications.
• Deliver initiatives to meet the demands of the business: a stable, performant, supportable platform.
• Advocate for and deliver development experience improvements.
• Tackle optimization challenges with reusable, modular code using design patterns and best practices.
• Stay at the forefront of platform technologies and implement new techniques to improve workflows.
• Participate in peer code reviews and provide constructive feedback to drive quality.
• Foster technical growth and collaboration within the engineering team.
• Implement feature quality analytics to inform product decisions and monitor performance.
• Take part in on-call support.
