Job summary

Workai in Poland is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to own the cloud infrastructure backbone of our AI-Native platform research project, focusing on Azure-based systems supporting LLMs, multi-agent orchestration, and semantic search.

You will design and maintain Azure environments, ensure multi-tenant isolation and real-time monitoring, and prepare production-grade setups for deployment serving hundreds of thousands of daily users across sectors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in senior or lead cloud roles.
• Strong knowledge of Azure services, microservices and API management.
• Experience building Enterprise SaaS applications.
• Practical experience with Azure SQL and Cosmos DB.
• Experience with testing and stabilizing APIs under high load.
• Experience with API integrations (Microsoft 365 Graph API, ServiceNow).
• Auth flows with IdentityServer/OIDC/OpenIddict.
• Fluency in Polish and English.

Responsibilities

• Leverage cloud computing, system integration, and software development expertise.
• Design and maintain Azure-based environments serving as the experimental backbone for MCP Graph Broker.
• Configure multi-tenant isolation, load balancing, and real-time monitoring.

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to own the cloud infrastructure backbone of our AI-Native platform research project.

You’ll work onadvanced Azure-based infrastructure supporting LLMs, multi-agent systems, semantic search, and enterprise-scale AIorchestration.

As part of our team, you will:

• Utilize your extensive knowledge ofcloud computing, system integration, and software development,


• Design and maintain cloud environments onMicrosoft Azure that serve asthe experimental backbone for the MCP Graph Broker –one ofthe first implementations ofits kind for enterprise AIin Poland,


• Configure and validate multi-tenant isolation, load balancing, and real-time monitoring mechanisms, ensuring that research onthe Orchestration Layer translates into architecturally sound, scalable solutions,


• Prepare production-grade environments for enterprise-scale adoption –from controlled lab conditions through toinfrastructure serving 500,000+ daily users across banking, retail, and public sector.

• At least 5years ofexperience inasenior orlead role incloud solutions architecture,


• A solid understanding ofAzure cloud services, microservices, and API management,


• Expertise inAgile methodologies, DevOps practices, and modern software development tools,


• Experience inbuilding Enterprise SaaS applications,


• Practical knowledge ofrelational and non-relational databases (Azure SQL, Cosmos DB) and analytics tools,


• Experience with testing and stabilizing API interfaces under high load –including integrations with external services (eg. Azure OpenAI, Search API, Azure Blob Storage),


• Experience with enterprise system integration via API (Microsoft 365 Graph API, ServiceNow REST API) inthe role ofconnector orMCP integration developer,


• Expertise and experience inimplementing complex authentication flows using IdentityServer, OIDC, OpenIddict,


• Strong problem-solving skills, leadership qualities, and excellent communication abilities,


• A passion for technology and akeen eye for emerging trends,


• Fluency inPolish (C1+) and English (B2+), both spoken and written,


• Availability towork remotely with required on-site presence atour Białystok office (one week every 2–3 months),


• Higher technical education (computer science orrelated field).

Nice to have:

• Experience with Azure OpenAI Service, Azure AISearch, and integration ofAI services with network infrastructure (rate limiting, routing, token monitoring),


• Knowledge ofthe MCP (Model Context Protocol) protocol orAI agent systems atalevel enabling configuration ofenvironments for context brokers and domain connectors,


• Experience with multi-agent systems atenterprise scale,


• Azure certifications: AIEngineer Associate (AI-102), Data Scientist Associate (DP-100), Developer Associate (AZ-204), Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305), orequivalent.
