Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. in Gdańsk, Poland, seeks a Senior Data and Analytics Engineer to maintain production and staging environments, optimize cloud infrastructure, and drive reliable CI/CD and GitOps practices.

You will work on Kubernetes-based deployments, monitor observability stacks, respond to incidents, and collaborate across Product and Support teams. Weekend migrations and on-call rotations are part of the role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Production Operations.
• AWS EKS experience supporting production environments.
• Experience supporting production SaaS applications.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI, or similar).
• GitOps experience with strong Git fundamentals.
• Experience using GitHub, Jira, and Confluence in collaborative environments.
• Kubernetes experience (EKS, kOps, or similar).
• Observability stack experience (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, PagerDuty).
• Scripting experience (Bash, Python, or Go).
• Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform, Helm, or similar).
• Working knowledge of PostgreSQL/MySQL for troubleshooting.
• Able to work within structured operational processes and SLAs.
• Strong written and verbal English; self-driven with a growth mindset.
• Weekend availability for migrations between environments when needed.

Responsibilities

• Migrate applications between environments; weekend migrations may be required.
• Monitor and support production and staging environments in real time.
• Respond to incidents, perform triage and root cause analysis.
• Participate in an on-call rotation with SLAs.
• Handle ad-hoc operational requests from Product, Support, and internal teams.
• Maintain and improve monitoring, dashboards, logs, and metrics; standardize observability.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, production releases, and GitOps workflows.
• Contribute to automation to reduce operational toil.
• Maintain and improve Kubernetes-based infrastructure and containerized workloads.
• Support Infrastructure as Code practices and environment improvements.
