Job summary

CodiLime is a software and network engineering expert delivering Proofs‑of‑Concept and production support for global clients. We seek a Mid/Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to migrate a GCP–based platform to Azure, design the Azure environment, and implement the platform as code in a CET‑overlapping, international setting.

You will work across DevOps, cloud and platform engineering teams, focusing on Terraform, AKS, and GitOps to ensure smooth deployment, testing and handovers.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud or platform engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, AKS, networking, identity, Key Vault, DNS and storage.
• Good knowledge of Google Cloud (GCP), including GKE, IAM, Cloud DNS, storage and managed databases.
• IaC with Terraform, including modules and reviewed workflow.
• CI/CD pipelines, e.g. GitLab CI, with automated tests and releases.
• Kubernetes and Linux proficiency.
• Experience with GitOps, e.g. Flux or Argo CD.
• Experience with production‑grade deployments.
• Scripting language knowledge (Bash or Python).
• Experience collaborating with customers or technical stakeholders on shared codebases.
• Fluency in English (minimum B2).
• Willingness to learn and work in an international CET‑overlap environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyse the existing GCP‑based platform and cloud infrastructure code and map to an Azure equivalent.
• Design the target Azure environment: subscriptions, networking, AKS, identity, secrets, DNS, container registry, storage and databases.
• Build the Azure environment as code with Terraform and integrate into the customer’s review and deployment flow.
• Port platform components to AKS with the GitOps workflow (Flux) and align with existing provider patterns.
• Prepare CI/CD changes so releases are built, deployed and tested on Azure.
• Advise on managing cloud resources from Kubernetes to avoid vendor lock-in (Azure Service Operator, Crossplane or Terraform).
• Support customer teams during service migration and fix platform issues.
• Hand over knowledge via pairing, documentation and a knowledge transfer session.
