Codilime is seeking a Mid/Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to join a project team delivering a Kubernetes-based platform on Microsoft Azure. You will analyse the GCP setup, design an Azure environment, port components to AKS and implement GitOps workflows to support customer application teams.

The role requires 4+ years in DevOps, hands-on Azure and GCP knowledge, Terraform IaC and strong Kubernetes/Linux skills, plus English fluency (B2).

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud or platform engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, notably AKS, networking, identity, Key Vault, DNS and storage.
• Good knowledge of Google Cloud (GCP), especially GKE, IAM, Cloud DNS, storage and managed databases.
• Hands-on Infrastructure as Code with Terraform (modules and reviewed workflow).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI) including tests and releases.
• Strong Kubernetes and Linux skills.
• Experience with GitOps tools like Flux or Argo CD.
• Scripting knowledge (Bash or Python).
• Experience collaborating with customers/tech stakeholders on shared codebases.
• Fluent English (minimum B2).
• Willingness to learn and work in an international environment with CET overlap.

Responsabilités

• Analyse the existing GCP-based platform and cloud infra code and map to Azure equivalents.
• Design the target Azure environment: subscriptions, networking, AKS, identity, secrets, DNS, container registry, storage and databases.
• Build the Azure environment as code with Terraform, aligned with customer review/deployment flow.
• Port platform components to AKS with GitOps (Flux) following existing patterns.
• Prepare CI/CD changes so releases are built, deployed and tested on Azure.
• Assist in managing cloud resources from Kubernetes to avoid vendor lock-in (Azure Service Operator, Crossplane, or Terraform).
• Support customer application teams during migration and fix platform issues.
• Hand over knowledge via pairing, documentation, and a final knowledge-transfer session.
