Job summary

Amgen Inc. is seeking a Clinical Sciences Director – Early Development, Oncology to translate scientific strategy into actionable execution across early-phase trials.

You will serve as a key clinical and scientific SME, guiding protocol execution, data review, and quality across cross-functional teams. You will drive medical monitoring, assess subject-level data for trends and risks, and support CROs and collaborators while maintaining governance and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree and 4+ years of life sciences/healthcare experience OR Master’s degree and 7+ years OR Bachelor’s degree and 9+ years.
• Proven track record in pharmaceutical clinical drug development, especially oncology.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to leadership committees.

Responsibilities

• Support early phase clinical development by translating strategy into executable actions across trials.
• Act as clinical and scientific SME for oncology with emphasis on protocol execution and data integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure trial governance and regulatory compliance; monitor data quality and trends.
