Job summary

Precision Medicine Group is seeking a Principal/Senior Clinical Data Scientist to lead the clinical science function across Oncology, Rare Diseases and/or Autoimmune programs from start-up to database lock. You will provide indication-specific expertise in review and interpretation of trial data, guiding data capture, edit checks, and data cleaning while ensuring safety and high data quality.

Role requires oncology expertise, leadership experience, and strong knowledge of clinical data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education/experience in science or health-related discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years of clinical research experience or proven competencies for this position.
• Minimum of 3 years Oncology experience, must have been within the past 1.5 years.
• Minimum of 1 year of leadership experience.
• Experience with Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems is strongly preferred.
• Database build experience and familiarity with data visualization platforms/tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical science services per study scope from start through database lock with high-quality outcomes.
• Perform holistic individual and aggregate participant data reviews using Precision’s data review tools.
• Guide study teams on eCRF design, data capture requirements, edit checks, and data cleaning to ensure protocol-compliant data.
• Support RBQM, identify study risks, trends and issues, coordinating with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with Medical Monitoring for review of participant data and findings.
• Contribute to protocol reviews from a scientific operational perspective.
• Maintain applicable eTMF documentation for Clinical Science.
