Job summary

Techland S.A. in Poland is seeking a skilled Cutscene Animator to bring narrative and dialogue scenes to life—from early layout to final animation.

You’ll collaborate with narrative, design and art teams to deliver immersive cutscenes and implement them in-engine to meet performance and technical requirements. The role requires strong knowledge of animation rules, MotionBuilder, and motion capture data, plus English proficiency and a genuine passion for video games.

Qualifications

• Perfect knowledge of animation rules.
• Excellent practical knowledge of Autodesk MotionBuilder.
• Experience with motion capture data.
• Extensive experience in the game industry, including AAA titles on next-gen consoles.
• Portfolio of animated cutscenes based on motion capture data.
• Independent, communicative, proactive, and well-organized.
• Fluency in English.
• Authentic interest in video games and ability to analyze narration in games.

Responsibilities

• Crafting and polishing narrative scenes across every phase of production.
• Participating in mocap shoots and integrating capture data into production-ready scenes.
• Collaborating with narrative, design, and art teams to deliver the creative vision.
• Implementing animations and cutscene setups in-engine while meeting performance and technical requirements.
