Job summary

GlobalLogic is seeking a Senior CI/CD Workflow Engineer to lead embedded software CI/CD pipelines and automation in Poland. You will optimize workflows, maintain Jenkins pipelines and shared libraries, and develop Python tools to improve release reliability.

Collaboration with German engineering teams is expected to drive efficient build infrastructure across projects. You will contribute to high-throughput CI/CD environments, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and implement best practices for testing

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 5 years of commercial experience.
Expertise in DevOps technologies & CI/CD principles.
Experience with cloud-based CI systems like Jenkins, GitLab CI or GitHub Actions.
Experience with embedded software build systems.
Proficiency in container virtualization technologies (e.g., Docker or LXC).
Skilled in platform-independent scripting languages (e.g., Python).
Proficiency in Unix scripting (e.g., Bash for Linux).
Advanced git usage for CI and tooling support.
Experience with REST APIs and service integrations.
Good command of English; strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently; proactive and self-motivated with a continuous learning mindset.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, focusing on workflow optimization and automation.
Develop and maintain Jenkins shared libraries and plugins using Groovy.
Create and maintain automated scripts and tools using Python to enhance CI/CD processes.
Integrate various testing frameworks and code quality tools into the CI/CD pipelines.
Troubleshoot and resolve pipeline issues and performance bottlenecks.
Monitor pipeline health and performance, implementing improvements as needed.
Monitor daily state of CI environment.
Provide weekly status reports of CI environment.
Collaborate with development teams to integrate their projects into the CI/CD system.
Document CI/CD workflows, best practices, and troubleshooting guides.
