Job summary

GlobalLogic is seeking a Senior CI/CD Workflow Engineer to join embedded software projects in Poland. You will collaborate with engineering teams in Germany to troubleshoot pipeline bottlenecks and drive automation best practices across the organization.

The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining high-throughput CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins libraries, and tools to streamline build environments and release reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering/CS with 5y exp, MS with 3y, or PhD with 1y.
• Expertise in DevOps Technologies & Principles (CI/CD).
• Experience with CI systems Jenkins, GitLab CI or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with embedded software build systems.
• Experience in pipeline/workflow development (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Proficiency in Docker or LXC for container virtualization.
• Proficiency in Python for tool development and testing.
• Proficiency in Bash for Linux scripting.
• Advanced Git usage for CI/developer tooling support.
• Experience with REST APIs and service integrations.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proactive and self-motivated with continuous learning mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins with workflow optimization.
• Develop and maintain Jenkins shared libraries and Groovy plugins.
• Create and maintain automatedPython scripts to enhance CI/CD processes.
• Integrate testing frameworks and code quality tools into CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot pipeline issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Monitor pipeline health and performance, implement improvements.
• Monitor daily state of CI environment and provide weekly status reports.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate projects into CI/CD.
• Document CI/CD workflows, best practices, and troubleshooting guides.
• Stay up-to-date with CI/CD tooling trends and best practices.
