Job summary

Infor Inc. is seeking a Senior C++ Software Engineer to join the COM Development team in Wroclaw. The role focuses on development, maintenance, and modernization of the Infor COM solution for a mature, enterprise-grade product.

You will design core components, drive architectural decisions, and work across Product Owners, Consulting, Support, QA, and other development teams to deliver robust software across C++ and Java platforms.

Qualifications

• Several years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on C++ development in complex systems.
• Good knowledge of Java and OO principles.
• Experience with large mature codebases and backward compatibility.
• Experience modernizing legacy apps without disrupting critical functionality.
• Experience with multithreaded apps and performance optimization.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain core components of the Infor COM solution.
• Implement new functionality in collaboration with Product Owners, Consulting, Support, QA, and other teams.
• Translate business and technical requirements into robust software solutions.
• Develop and maintain high-quality C++ and Java code.
• Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions.
• Investigate and resolve complex customer-reported issues and defects.
• Contribute to modernization initiatives and platform migrations.
• Drive continuous improvements in software quality, performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Support automated testing and CI/CD initiatives.
