Infor is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the COM Development team in Wroclaw. You will design, develop, and maintain core components of the COM solution, collaborating with Product Owners, Consulting, Support, QA, and other teams to deliver robust features.

The role emphasizes modernizing legacy applications, improving performance, and ensuring backward compatibility within a mature enterprise product. Strong English and cross-team collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Several years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with C++ development in complex software systems.
• Good knowledge of Java and object-oriented software development principles.
• Experience with large, mature codebases and enhancing existing software while maintaining backward compatibility.
• Experience modernizing legacy applications and refactoring software without disrupting business-critical functionality.
• Experience with multithreaded applications and performance optimization.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and debugging techniques.
• Experience with source control systems, build pipelines, and modern development practices.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain core components of the Infor COM solution.
• Implement new functionality and enhancements in close collaboration with Product Owners, Consulting, Support, QA, and other Development teams.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into robust software solutions.
• Develop and maintain high-quality code in C++ and Java.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions.
• Investigate and resolve complex customer-reported issues and product defects.
• Contribute to modernization initiatives, including technology upgrades, platform migrations, and architectural improvements.
• Drive continuous improvements in software quality, performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Support automated testing and CI/CD initiatives.
