Job summary

Infolet in Kraków is seeking an experienced C++ Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications for an aviation-focused flight planning platform. You will build features, modernize legacy systems, and collaborate with cross-functional Scrum teams in an Agile environment across on-premise and SaaS deployments.

The role demands 5+ years of C++ experience, strong SOLID and OOP knowledge, and fluency in English and Polish.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of commercial experience with C++.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, and software design patterns.
• Experience developing applications for Windows and Linux.
• Experience maintaining and improving legacy systems.
• Good knowledge of SQL, Git, and Linux/Unix fundamentals.
• Experience with Docker.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good in English and Polish.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications in C++.
• Build new features and enhance existing functionality.
• Maintain and modernize legacy code while improving software quality.
• Develop automated tests and participate in code reviews.
• Debug complex issues and optimize application performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Scrum teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Prepare technical documentation and present completed features to internal stakeholders.
• Promote engineering best practices and continuous improvement.
