Job summary

Sii Poland seeks an experienced embedded C++ developer to advance software for industrial control systems. You will work on high-level software layers for communication modules and services across hardware platforms, emphasizing scalability, reliability, and network communication.

You will navigate a large codebase, collaborate with multiple teams, and communicate effectively in Polish and English while contributing to architectural decisions and secure, robust software delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience programming in C++.
• Knowledge of embedded systems and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
• Good knowledge of communication protocols, including Ethernet and TCP/IP.
• General knowledge of networks and the OSI model.
• Ability to debug embedded devices.
• Advanced proficiency in English and Polish.
• Required to reside in Poland.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and developing software for communication modules of industrial devices.
• Refactoring and testing existing solutions.
• Collaborating with the development team to define and evaluate proposed solutions.

Join the team developing the next generation of software for industrial control systems and communication modules. The project focuses on creating and advancing advanced embedded C++ components used in industrial automation solutions.

The work involves developing a high-level software layer responsible for communication, integration, and key system functions. The project emphasizes the development of high-level software components and services designed to be used across various hardware platforms. Strong focus is placed on system architecture, network communication, reliability, and software scalability.

Your tasks
