Job summary

EPAM Systems in Wrocław is seeking a Senior C++ Developer to design and build digital products and services within our global IT team, enabling agile transformation and high-performance fintech solutions. You will work on FX Cash Trading platforms, ensuring compliance and delivering value, with 3 days in our flex-hybrid office.

You will collaborate with COO, control, and IT teams, apply best practices, and mentor peers while contributing to a strong engineering culture across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology
• 5+ years in software development in finance
• Proficiency in C++ with multi-threaded design for low-latency systems
• Experience with MS-SQL, Sybase, or Oracle
• Familiarity with IBM MQ and Kafka
• DevOps experience with builds/releases using GitLab
• Understanding of Azure cloud
• Strong communication skills and English proficiency (B2+)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and improve digital products and tech services for clients and employees
• Apply a broad range of software engineering practices including testing and deployment
• Ensure quality, security, reliability and compliance of solutions
• Build observability, monitor production health, resolve incidents, address root causes
• Understand and advocate for client needs
• Share knowledge and help with hiring and engineering culture
• Support L3 activities as needed
