Job summary

Jit Team poszukuje doświadczonego programisty C++ do zespołu odpowiedzialnego za rozwijanie oprogramowania do grid automation w nowoczesnym C++17/20. Praca z zespołem globalnym, w elastycznym modelu hybrydowym z Krakowa, 1–2 dni w biurze w tygodniu.

Wymaga zaawansowanej znajomości C++ oraz doświadczenia w projektowaniu systemów o wysokiej wydajności i niskich opóźnieniach, a także umiejętności pracy w międzynarodowym środowisku z użyciem Docker/Kubernetes i narzędzi CI/CD.

Qualifications

• Wymagane wykształcenie kierunkowe w informatyce lub pokrewnym.

Responsibilities

• Projektowanie rozwiązań multithread i niskich opóźnień oraz integracja rdzeni C++ z usługami runtime w .NET i Rust.
• Profilowanie i optymalizacja wątkowości, alokacji pamięci i latency.
• Udział w przeglądach architektury, dokumentacji i roadmap.
• Wspieranie decyzji dotyczących CI/CD i secure software supply chain na Linux i Windows.
• Praca w zespole Agile międzydziałowym nad istniejącymi systemami i nowymi funkcjami.

Job description

Czym będziesz się zajmować?

Project:

• Develop mission critical Grid Automation software in modern C++17 and C++20 for global power systems.
• Build high performance, secure and reliable real time applications with predictable latency, resilience and long term support.
• Collaborate with global R&D, engineering, product and business teams on next generation energy infrastructure.
• Work in a flexible hybrid model from Kraków, with 1 to 2 days per week in the office.

Responsibilities:

• Design multithreading, synchronization, IO and latency solutions; integrate C++ cores with .NET and Rust runtime services.
• Profile and optimize threading, lock contention, memory allocation, scalability and low latency execution.
• Maintain quality through code reviews, unit testing, SOLID, KISS, DRY and best practices.
• Contribute to architecture reviews, documentation, roadmaps, refactoring, legacy modernization and feature delivery.
• Support dependency, build tooling and secure software supply chain decisions across Linux and Windows.
• Enhance existing systems and new features in an agile cross disciplinary team.

Kogo poszukujemy?

Key requirements:

• University degree in computer science, engineering or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of experience in senior technical roles.
• Advanced modern C++17 and C++20 proficiency with RAII, smart pointers, STL, concurrency and memory management.
• Strong experience with multithreading, synchronization primitives, asynchronous IO and real time system design.
• Proficiency with CMake and Visual Studio; cross platform development for Windows and Linux.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, performance profiling, optimization and low latency systems.
• Understanding of software architecture, secure scalable design and non functional requirements.
• Unit and integration testing knowledge plus excellent problem solving skills.
• Practical experience with power grid management, monitoring, operations and standards, plus SCADA, IED and RTU.
• Experience integrating C++ cores with .NET and Rust runtime services.

Nice to have:

• Practical C# development knowledge.
