Job summary

Blackwall is hiring a Software Engineer (C++/Go) to design and build next-gen web security products. You’ll integrate modules for web servers, patch open-source libraries, and enhance the bot-detection engine while contributing across full development lifecycle in a remote-first European setup.

You should have 10+ years of C/C++ experience, strong systems programming skills, and familiarity with SQL and web tech. Go is a plus; open to diverse EU locations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional C/C++ software development experience.
• Expertise in low-level and systems/network programming.
• Experience with web security and SQL.
• Working knowledge of Go is a strong plus.
• Experience with PHP/XML/HTML/CSS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop integration modules for web servers like Nginx and Apache.
• Patch and extend open-source libraries and tools.
• Implement new functions in our bot detection engine in C++.
• Design and build new networking and web security products.
• Contribute to web development where needed.
