Job summary

Novocure in Kraków seeks a Senior BI Developer to transform data from enterprise sources into interactive dashboards and analytics. You will build data models, optimize SQL, and deliver insights across COO-related teams, leveraging the Data Lake and Power BI tools.

You will automate processes with Power Automate/Power Apps, ensure data governance, and create clear technical documentation while partnering with multiple stakeholders globally. English fluency is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• About 5 years of experience developing BI and analytics solutions.
• Strong SQL development skills with experience on enterprise databases.
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Power BI and data lakes.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a global, cross-functional environment.
• Fluent in English with strong presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and reports with Power BI from the Data Lake and enterprise systems.
• Build and maintain data models, semantic layers, and reusable datasets.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and data transformations for high-performance reporting.
• Collaborate with Global Supply Chain, Operations Engineering, Product Development, Quality, and others to deliver insights.
• Identify automation opportunities using Power Automate, Power Apps, Python, or similar tech.
• Ensure data accuracy, governance, and consistency across reporting solutions.
• Monitor and improve dashboards and reporting environments; document data definitions and user guides.
• Promote BI best practices and data visualization standards across the organization.

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to support the Global Operations organization to enable faster, better-informed decisions through scalable analytics, trusted data products, and automation solutions.

The Business Intelligence Developer will transform data from enterprise data sources, increasingly leveraging the corporate Data Lake, into interactive dashboards, reports, and analytics that improve operational visibility across the COO organization. You will partner with Novocure’s automation solutions team to drive analytical efficiency and reduce manual work.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, scorecards, and reports using tools like Microsoft Power BI leveraging data primarily from the corporate Data Lake and other enterprise systems.
• Build and maintain efficient data models, semantic layers, and reusable datasets.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and data transformations to ensure high-performance reporting.
• Partner with stakeholders across Global Supply Chain, Operations Engineering, Product Development, Quality, ET and Patient Experience to understand reporting needs and deliver actionable insights.
• Identify opportunities to automate business processes and develop automation solutions using Power Automate, Power Apps, Python, or similar technologies.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across all reporting solutions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve existing dashboards and reporting environments.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, data definitions, and user guides.
• Promote BI best practices, data visualization standards, and continuous improvement within the organization.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• About 5 years of experience developing Business Intelligence and analytics solutions.
• Strong SQL development skills and experience working with enterprise databases.
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Power BI.
• Experience working with Data Lakes and modern cloud-based data platforms.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data integration, data transformation and data visualization best practices.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a global, cross-functional environment.
• Fluent in English with communication and presentation skills.

Preferred

• Experience supporting Operations, Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering and Supply Chain organizations is highly preferred.
• Experience with Python or similar scripting languages for automation and data processing.
• Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred).
• Experience defining and monitoring operational KPIs.
• Experience working in a regulated industry (Medical Devices, Pharmaceutical, or Healthcare) is an advantage.
