Job summary

Novocure in Kraków seeks a Senior BI Developer to empower Global Operations with scalable analytics, dashboards, and data-driven insights.

You will transform data from the Data Lake, build semantic layers, and collaborate with Supply Chain, Quality, and Engineering to automate processes using Power Platform and Python. Strong Power BI and SQL skills are essential, plus SAP familiarity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing BI and analytics solutions.
• Advanced Power BI experience is mandatory.
• Strong SQL development skills with enterprise DBs.
• Experience with Data Lakes and cloud platforms; SAP and Excel sources.
• Knowledge of KPI building, data modeling, data integration, data transformation and data visualization.
• Power Platform experience including Power Automate, Power Apps, Query.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a global, cross-functional environment.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Engineering/Data Analytics or related field.
• Experience supporting Operations, Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering and Supply Chain preferred.
• Experience with Python or scripting for automation preferred.
• Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and reports using Power BI from the Data Lake and other systems.
• Build and maintain efficient data models and reusable datasets.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and transformations for high-performance reporting.
• Partner with Global Supply Chain, Operations Engineering, Product Development, Quality, ET and Patient Experience to deliver insights.
• Identify opportunities to automate processes using Power Automate, Power Apps, Python, or similar.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across reporting solutions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve dashboards and reporting environments.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and data definitions.
• Promote BI best practices and data visualization standards.

As a Senior BI Developeryou will support the Global Operations organization to enable faster, better-informed decisions through scalable analytics, trusted data products, and automation solutions.

You will transform data from enterprise data sources, increasingly leveraging the corporate Data Lake, into interactive dashboards, reports, and analytics that improve operational visibility across the COO organization. In this role you will often partner with Novocure's automation solutions team to drive analytical efficiency and reduce manual work.

What you'll do:

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, scorecards, and reports using tools like Microsoft Power BI leveraging data primarily from the corporate Data Lake and other enterprise systems.
• Build and maintain efficient data models, semantic layers, and reusable datasets.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and data transformations to ensure high-performance reporting.
• Partner with stakeholders across Global Supply Chain, Operations Engineering, Product Development, Quality, ET and Patient Experience to understand reporting needs and deliver actionable insights.
• Identify opportunities to automate business processes and develop automation solutions using Power Automate, Power Apps, Python, or similar technologies.

About you:

• About 5+ years of experience developing Business Intelligence and analytics solutions.
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Power BI is a mandatory requirement.
• Strong SQL development skills and experience working with enterprise databases.
• Experience working with Data Lakes and modern cloud-based data platforms, with exposure to enterprise systems such as SAP and data sources such as Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of KPI building, data modeling, data integration, data transformation and data visualization best practices.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate, Query.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a global, cross-functional environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Experience supporting Operations, Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering and Supply Chain organizations is highly preferred.
• Experience with Python or similar scripting languages for automation and data processing would be preferred.
• Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred).
