Job summary

Cross Border Talents is assisting a Warsaw-based EU enterprise IT programme, searching for a Senior Business Analyst to bridge business stakeholders and technical delivery teams across HR, asset management, finance and grant‑agreement management.

You’ll elicit and document requirements, model processes with BPMN and UML, translate needs into specifications and support design, testing and change management throughout a 42‑month engagement.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of overall IT experience.
• 5+ years of Business Analyst experience.
• At least 3 years as a BA on a large-scale system with a development team of 10+ engineers.
• Strong SQL and data-analysis skills.
• Experience with enterprise information systems and system integrations.
• Strong knowledge of BPMN and UML.
• Level 6 education or equivalent.
• C1-level English.
• At least 2 recognised BA/modelling certifications, including CBAP and UML/BPM2 fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyse and document business requirements and user stories.
• Model business processes, value chains, roles, capabilities and data.
• Translate stakeholder needs into clear business requirements specifications.
• Work alongside product owners throughout requirements definition.
• Manage requirements across the full systems-development lifecycle.
• Support solution design, testing, QA and change-management activities.
• Model processes using BPMN and UML.
• Design, validate and test improved business processes.
• Support enterprise system and data-platform integrations.
• Conduct cost-benefit and what-if analyses.
• Develop transition roadmaps and support organisational change.
• Help establish performance-monitoring systems.
• Communicate project scope, requirements and objectives across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
