Job summary

State Street Corp. seeks a Senior Business Analyst for EDM Products to help build and advocate the Alpha Data Management Offering. You will partner with product, engineering, and client-facing teams to deliver value through data management platforms and investment analytics.

The role requires strong business acumen, data-driven decision making, and excellent communication for requirements and roadmaps. Hybrid work: 3 days in office per week, with international travel possible.

Qualifications

• 4+ years combined experience in a software product role
• Enterprise Data Management experience
• Strong domain experience in Financial Markets
• Understanding of the investment lifecycle from manager due diligence to investment monitoring and analytics & reporting
• Ability to work as part of a global, distributed organization
• Progress towards CFA or CAIA is desirable
• Experience using JIRA or other agile development tools

Responsibilities

• Assist the product execution organization ensuring initiatives are executed across internal teams, customers, and stakeholders.
• Be the owner of capabilities within the Data Management space.
• Ensure individual features and products are aligned with business objectives.
• Lead client calls and workshops to collect and understand customer insights to drive product decisions.
• Prioritize, communicate, and support complex and conflicting opportunities and market needs.
• Engage with cross-functional heads to ensure alignment and orientation to product execution across the organization.
• Contribute to the product roadmap communication to internal and external stakeholders.
• Work with product teams to ensure timely and complete requirements gathering, definition, deconstruction, and design.
