Job summary

your Jared is seeking a Senior BIOS Engineer to support the BIOS and Firmware Security Team. You will perform security reviews, validate signing requests, and ensure proper workflow execution across the internal portal ecosystem.

The role requires 4+ years in cybersecurity with BIOS/firmware focus, familiarity with Secure Boot, TPM, and UEFI, plus strong communication skills to justify technical decisions to diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

4+ years of cybersecurity experience focused on BIOS/firmware security and testing.
Hands-on with Secure Boot and TPM technologies.
Experience with UEFI pre-boot environments and embedded firmware.
Proven ability to review, analyze, and approve firmware/BIOS images.
Strong written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Review BIOS/Embedded Controller signing requests before approval.
Analyze images to distinguish production vs test versions for expedited processing.
Validate images against baselines in internal repositories.
Compare new images with prior approved versions using internal tools.
Identify changes and assess non-security-critical modifications.
Escalate significant modifications for formal security review.
Coordinate validation with internal teams and manage onboarding/offboarding access.
Maintain access control and audit records for firmware signing activities.
