Job summary

your Jared is seeking a Senior BIOS Engineer to join our BIOS and Firmware Security Team. You will perform security reviews of BIOS and Embedded Controller signing requests, ensuring proper validation and alignment with baselines.

The role entails troubleshooting signing workflows, access management, and coordinating with internal teams on validation activities. The ideal candidate has 4+ years in BIOS/firmware security, strong Scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash), and experience with

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity focusing on BIOS/Firmware security and testing.
• Familiarity with Secure Boot and TPM technologies.
• Background in pre-boot environments (UEFI), embedded firmware, or device driver development.
• Proven ability to review, analyze, and approve firmware/BIOS images.
• Strong written and verbal communication, able to justify technical decisions to diverse stakeholders.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Review BIOS and EC signing requests in the internal portal before signing approval.
• Analyze BIOS/EC images to distinguish production vs test versions for processing.
• Validate images against approved baselines stored in internal repositories.
• Compare new images with previously approved versions using internal tools.
• Identify modifications and assess non-security-critical changes.
• Approve signing requests when aligned with prior reviews; escalate significant changes.
• Coordinate with teams for validation on images.
• Support onboarding/offboarding and access reviews; maintain access records.
