Job summary

Ericsson is seeking a Senior Baseband System Developer to advance RAN systemization and baseband algorithms for next-gen wireless tech. You’ll influence technical direction and collaborate with global teams on 5G/6G solutions.

You will lead design, validation, and optimization of L1 and RRM algorithms, develop simulation tools, and mentor colleagues to raise capability and delivery impact across products.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in wireless systems engineering.
• Deep knowledge of 5G/6G, MIMO, beamforming, and DSP.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages.

Responsibilities

• Lead systemization for next-gen RAN: define requirements, drive features, align roadmaps.
• Design, optimize, and validate L1 and RRM algorithms with DSP, MIMO, beamforming.
• Conduct advanced link- and network-level studies to improve 5G/6G performance.
• Develop software simulations and tools to assess designs and guide decisions.
• Collaborate with global teams for seamless integration and feature delivery.
• Influence 5G/6G standards; mentor teammates to grow capabilities.
• Deliver systemization artifacts to accelerate product delivery.
