Job summary

Ericsson in Lodz, Poland, is seeking a Radio Network System Engineer to join the RAN Baseband System Management team. You will work on 5G features, signal processing, and network simulations to analyze performance in live networks.

The role involves collaboration with teams worldwide and supporting deployment of 5G products. Hybrid work; 3 days in the office weekly. Strong MSc/PhD in relevant fields and 5G NR experience are required, with excellent English communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• MSc/PhD in CS, EE or engineering physics is required.
• Strong background in communications theory and digital signal processing is valuable.
• Experience with 5G NR and radio resource management is desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform systems studies in Radio Resource Management (Scheduling, Link Adaptation).
• Develop network-level software simulations for 5G features.
• Contribute to 5G standards and customer deployments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams worldwide on new features and simulations.
