Job summary

HelloFresh is seeking a Product Engineer for its HelloTech division in Warsaw. You will join a squad, own backend problems end-to-end, and apply AI tools to improve delivery of services to millions of customers.

Expect to lead architecture, design, testing, and deployment of distributed systems, using Go or a JVM language, with Docker, Kubernetes, and modern deployment practices. You’ll collaborate across multidisciplinary teams in a global context.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AI tooling beyond casual experimentation.
• Fluency in Go or a JVM language and production distributed systems work.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and service contracts.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture, design, deployment, and operation of microservices in a DevOps setup.
• Lead backend-focused product challenges, building reliable scalable services.
• Build event-driven systems with modern messaging and expose REST/gRPC interfaces.
• Work with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines; drive robust testing.
• Collaborate across product, frontend, design, and data teams; mentor peers.
