Job summary

Your Jared in Warsaw, Poland is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to build a multi-tenant policy gateway using Nest.js, TypeScript, and AWS. You will design webhook auth, tenant routing, and policy mapping to a canonical model.

Work is remote-first with async collaboration, implement through Terraform/Vault, and ensure data isolation, idempotency, and robust error handling across tenants.

Qualifications

• 5+ years backend engineering with TypeScript in production.
• Experience with Nest.js or a DI-based Node framework.
• Experience building integration services or API gateways.
• Hands-on AWS (S3, SQS, IAM) and PostgreSQL data modeling.
• Multi-tenant systems with data isolation.
• Terraform and Vault for secrets management.

Responsibilities

• Design and build a multi-tenant policy gateway with strict isolation.
• Implement webhook contracts, HMAC auth, and IP allowlisting.
• Build tenant router/registry with composite resolution and error handling.
• Develop source adapters, retries, timeouts, and circuit breakers.
• Ship per-tenant observability and onboarding runbooks.
