Job summary

Expereo is seeking a Backend Developer to join the Supplier onboarding and Quote Management teams, focusing on the computational core of the platform. You will write Python and/or .NET daily, enhancing an existing Python/C# backend and building new services to solve real-world business problems.

The role intersects algorithmic implementation, API design, and engineering discipline, with growth into a technical execution track as the platform scales.

Qualifications

• Advanced Python — clean, tested, reusable code.
• API design and REST contracts with versioning and clear error handling.
• Software engineering discipline: testing, code review, Git, maintainable code.
• Ability to work in a mixed-language codebase (Python/C#).

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the quote engine logic, partner integrations, and internal services.
• Define contracts, versioning, and API documentation.
• Refactor code to production-ready standards and write unit/integration tests.
• Collaborate with Commercial teams and Platform engineers, participate in sprint reviews.
