Job summary

MEDvidi, Inc. is expanding its AI-powered telemedicine backend in Poland, seeking a Senior Backend (NodeJS) Engineer. You will design scalable backend systems, integrate LLM features, and build multi-agent AI workflows to automate clinical and operational tasks.

You will collaborate with AI engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to deploy production-grade automation with strong observability, reliable APIs, and cost-conscious design choices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of commercial backend development with Node.js in SaaS environments.
• Experience designing backend architectures with scalable, maintainable solutions.
• Proven track record building high-performance APIs and data flows.
• Hands-on experience embedding LLMs into production systems with reliable, cost-conscious patterns.
• Knowledge of multi-agent AI workflows, orchestration logic, and RAG pipelines.
• Strong prompt engineering skills including structured outputs and validation.
• Familiarity with observability tools (Grafana, OpenSearch) and cloud services (AWS).
• Proficiency in English (B2+) and Russian language skills considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend architecture for AI-powered automation within the platform.
• Integrate LLM-based features and agent-based workflows into production services.
• Develop robust APIs for internal and external integrations.
• Improve RAG pipelines, embeddings, and vector data handling for retrieval quality and latency trade-offs.
• Ensure observability, monitoring, and alerting across services; participate in code reviews and documentation.
