Job summary

MEDvidi seeks a Senior Backend (NodeJS) Engineer to lead AI-driven integrations within our telemedicine platform. You will design scalable backend systems and produce reliable APIs that connect core product with AI services, impacting thousands of patients and providers daily.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of commercial backend development with Node.js in product companies, preferably SaaS.
• Experience designing backend architectures with long-term maintainability and scalable solutions.
• Hands-on experience integrating LLMs into production systems with reliability in focus.
• Experience designing multi-agent AI workflows and orchestration logic in production.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL schema design, migrations, and performance optimization.
• Strong observability, tracing, and debugging skills using Grafana/OpenSearch.
• Familiarity with AWS CDK, Lambda, API Gateway and caching layers.
• Excellent product sense with a focus on user-centered automation and reliability.
• Fluent Russian; English at least B2+.

Responsibilities

• Design and build backend architecture for AI-powered automation systems with scalability.
• Integrate and scale LLM-based features in collaboration with AI engineers and product teams.
• Implement multi-agent AI workflows (ReAct, supervisor-agent models) in production.
• Optimize RAG pipelines and context enrichment using structured/unstructured data.
• Develop robust APIs for internal services and external integrations.
• Maintain strong observability, monitoring, and alerting with Grafana/OpenSearch.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and document new systems and APIs.
