Vertex Agility in Cracow is seeking a Senior Backend / Full Stack Engineer to build a product analytics and telemetry platform. The role focuses on Node.js, REST APIs and databases, with backend emphasis and optional frontend exposure.

You’ll influence architecture and development practices from an early stage, collaborating with internal users and stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience in backend development.
• Experience with Node.js and REST APIs.
• Good SQL and relational database design knowledge (PostgreSQL preferred).
• Experience across the SDLC and modern development practices.
• Solid code quality and documentation practices.
• Excellent communication with technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services and scalable REST APIs.
• Contribute to architectural decisions for the platform.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Design relational data models and databases.
• Build prototypes to validate approaches.
• Maintain high standards of code quality and docs.
