Hitachi Energy in Łódź is seeking a senior software developer to design and build scalable backend services using C# and modern .NET. You will work with engineers, architects, and product stakeholders to shape architecture and deliver enterprise-grade solutions.

You will improve CI/CD, leverage Azure services, and explore AI-powered tooling like Azure OpenAI and Semantic Kernel to enhance developer experience.

Your background

• 8+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong expertise in C# and modern .NET
• Experience with, or strong interest in, building modern software solutions that incorporate intelligent assistants, agent-based capabilities, and automation features.
• Experience building enterprise-grade applications and backend services
• Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and distributed systems
• Hands-on experience developing REST APIs and enterprise integrations
• Knowledge of SQL Server and Entity Framework
• Practical experience with Microsoft Azure services
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps
• Strong understanding of software quality, reliability, and operational readiness
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools is an advantage
• Experience with Azure OpenAI or Semantic Kernel is a plus
• Confident communication skills in English
