Hitachi ABB Power Grids is seeking a senior software engineer to build and evolve enterprise-grade applications on the .NET stack. You will design backend services, REST APIs, and cloud-native solutions on Azure, while shaping architecture, standards, and development practices.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years of experience, strong C#/.NET skills, and hands-on Azure experience, with a focus on reliability, observability, and scalable integrations. English communication is essential.

Your background

• 8+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong expertise in C# and modern .NET
• Experience with, or strong interest in, building modern software solutions that incorporate intelligent assistants, agent-based capabilities, and automation features.
• Experience building enterprise-grade applications and backend services
• Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and distributed systems
• Hands‑on experience developing REST APIs and enterprise integrations
• Knowledge of SQL Server and Entity Framework
• Practical experience with Microsoft Azure services
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps
• Strong understanding of software quality, reliability, and operational readiness
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools is an advantage
• Experience with Azure OpenAI or Semantic Kernel is a plus
• Confident communication skills in English
