Job summary

Harvey Nash Poland is seeking a senior backend engineer to design and scale backend systems and data pipelines for fintech AI applications. You will build batch and streaming pipelines, microservices and APIs, and productionise GenAI/LLM solutions, including model APIs and embeddings.

You will ensure performance, reliability, security and observability while collaborating with Data Science, Product and Engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend/software engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable backend systems and data pipelines for fintech AI applications.
• Develop batch/streaming pipelines, microservices and APIs.
• Integrate and productionise GenAI/LLM solutions, including model APIs and embeddings.
• Ensure strong performance, reliability, security and observability.
• Work with Data Science, Product and Engineering teams to take solutions into production.
• Own CI/CD, testing and cloud deployments and contribute to engineering best practices.
