Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Fleet Provisioning Automation team. You will design and build backend services and APIs in Go to automate provisioning and lifecycle operations for CoreWeave’s global bare metal fleet.

You will work on Kubernetes CRDs, scalable distributed systems, and integrations with vendor/internal APIs, ensuring safe, auditable automation at hyperscale. Strong Go skills and Linux/debugging expertise are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software or infra engineering building production backends.
• Proficiency in Go with gRPC and REST APIs in production.
• Experience designing distributed systems at scale and resilience patterns.
• Strong Linux systems understanding across processes and storage.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes APIs, CRDs, controllers, or operators.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tooling to ship services safely and frequently.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend services and APIs in Go for provisioning and lifecycle management.
• Develop Kubernetes CRDs to automate provisioning and lifecycle across the fleet.
• Model and evolve RPC schemas and data contracts for internal teams.
• Integrate with vendor and internal APIs to coordinate multi-step workflows.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers, data centers, and platform teams for scale.
• Create test plans, deployment automation, and tooling for safe rollouts.
• Participate in on-call rotation and drive incident response improvements.
