Job summary

Pliant is seeking a (Senior) Software Engineer - Backend - Growth to join a cross-functional team of frontend and backend engineers, product managers, and designers. The Growth team develops onboarding improvements, AFC compliance, and credit risk management across the customer journey.

You will build robust financial infrastructure, implement scalable microservices, and ensure high-quality automation tests in a fast-growing fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Knowledge of distributed architecture patterns and antipatterns.
• Great automation testing skills.
• Proficiency with REST APIs.
• Proficiency with relational databases (preferably PostgreSQL).
• Experience with AWS and Docker.

Responsibilities

• Conception, definition, and further development of our banking platform.
• Ensuring a scalable, maintainable, and secure microservice architecture.
• Implementation of integration and E2E tests.
