Job summary

Luxoft Poland is seeking a senior Cloud Engineer to design, build, and scale cloud services that manage AI-powered edge devices across multi-region deployments. You will own observability, OTA updates, and secure, scalable microservices for a high-availability platform.

You will mentor engineers, drive IaC-driven infrastructure, and collaborate across hardware, product, and software teams to deliver robust end-to-end solutions in an agile, DevOps-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of industry experience.
• Experience with AWS services such as EKS, S3, SQS, RDS, Cognito, and Lambda.
• Proficiency in Python or Go, with production-quality services.
• Experience with relational, document, or time-series databases and performant SQL queries.
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration in production.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration across teams.
• Proven ability to design and operate scalable, secure APIs and microservices.
• Strong communication and leadership in cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience in agile environments with modern DevOps and SRE practices.

The Cloud Fleet Engineering team is at the forefront of managing and scaling our fleet of AI-powered edge devices deployed across global transportation agencies. As a senior engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and scaling cloud services that enable remote device management, over-the-air updates, observability, and high-availability operations for our mobile perception platform. • Mentor junior engineers and share expertise in cloud technologies, software and architectural design patterns.

Mandatory Skills Description:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of industry experience.
• Experience with Amazon AWS services such as EKS, S3, SQS, RDS, Cognito, and Lambda.
• Proficiency in Python or Go (Golang), with a focus on building production-quality services.
• Experience working with relational, document, or time-series databases and expertise in writing performant SQL queries.
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration in production environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate and contribute to solutions effectively.
• Proven ability to design and operate scalable, secure APIs and microservices.
