Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a senior software engineer to join a Scrum team building an Azure-based Core platform for a multinational client. The role emphasizes designing, developing, and maintaining scalable cloud solutions with strong RESTful API experience.

You will work closely with UX analysts and stakeholders, create Azure architecture designs, and balance cost with performance. Regular travel to Belgium is required every 2 months; English fluency is essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 6 years of proven software design and development expertise with focus on maintainability and scalability.
• Solid knowledge of Azure Functions, Azure architecture, and containerization.
• Proficiency in C#, .NET, SQL, HTML and related technologies.
• Experience designing RESTful web services and APIs.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in a Scrum team to design, develop, and maintain an Azure-based cloud solution.
• Participate in Scrum planning and analysis of work to be done.
• Implement new functionality or refactor code per specifications and mock-ups.
• Collaborate with developers, UX analysts, and stakeholders on architecture decisions.
• Create technical designs and define Azure architecture.
• Support decision-making balancing cost, scalability, and maintainability.
• Write unit tests and participate in code reviews.
• Report progress daily and focus on bug fixing as needed.
• Travel to Belgium for 1 week every 2 months.
