Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR seeks a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to design, deliver and modernise enterprise infrastructure across data centre and Azure cloud platforms. You will drive cloud adoption, hybrid connectivity, and automation while aligning with security and governance standards.

The role focuses on resilient, scalable infrastructure in an investment management environment, working with cross-functional teams to shape strategic infrastructure programmes and future technology platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering enterprise infrastructure in data centre and cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of server, storage, virtualisation and compute platforms.
• Proficiency with LAN/WAN networks, routing, switching, DNS/DHCP and VPN security.
• Experience in designing highly available, resilient infrastructure and DR/BC planning.
• Exposure to Infrastructure-as-Code and automation practices.

Responsibilities

• Design enterprise infrastructure solutions across data centre and Azure environments.
• Lead migration from on-premise to hybrid cloud architectures.
• Build and manage secure hybrid connectivity between data centres and Azure.
• Enhance networking, security and governance across the tech estate.
• Support infrastructure modernisation, automation and operational improvements.
• Develop designs, implementation plans and roadmaps for infrastructure projects.
• Provide senior technical guidance during incidents and complex challenges.
