Job summary

Stott and May Inc. is seeking a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer to join a team working on a large-scale Big Data Analytics Platform in the insurance sector.

This hands‑on role focuses on building, enhancing and operating secure, automated Azure platform services and will involve architectural contributions and close collaboration with engineering and business stakeholders. You will work across Azure services with Databricks, Data Lake, Terraform, Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, in an environment

Qualifications

Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks and Azure Data Lake Storage.
Advanced Python development skills.
Terraform / Infrastructure as Code experience.
Azure DevOps, YAML pipelines and CI/CD.
Azure networking concepts including VNets and NSGs.
Microsoft Entra ID and RBAC knowledge.
Experience building and operating enterprise Azure platforms.
Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
Experience in regulated environments, ideally insurance.

Responsibilities

Build, enhance and operate secure, automated and maintainable Azure platform services.
Contribute to architectural decisions and platform solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and translate solutions for business stakeholders.
