ITDS is seeking Senior/Principal/Sr. Principal Software Engineers to shape AI-native cloud platforms for the financial services sector. You will lead hands-on development of scalable cloud solutions, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product and AI teams to deliver enterprise-grade software.

You will design, implement, and operate cloud-native applications across AWS/Azure/GCP, ensuring reliability, performance, and security in regulated environments.

In this pivotal role, you will be a hands-on technical leader, solving complex distributed systems challenges, designing scalable cloud architectures, and writing high-performance, production-grade code infused with AI capabilities. This is an individual contributor role perfect for engineers who love building innovative solutions, with the opportunity to mentor and influence a team of talented engineers.

What you'll do:

• Design and develop highly scalable, cloud-native platforms on AWS.
• Create distributed systems, APIs, event-driven services, and core platform components.
• Drive engineering excellence through clean architecture, rigorous testing, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and operational best practices.
• Own systems end-to-end—from initial design to production deployment and ongoing operations.
• Mentor fellow engineers, promoting technical excellence and best practices.
• Collaborate closely with product teams and AI specialists to deliver enterprise-grade software solutions.

Required Skills:

• 8+ years (Senior), 12+ years (Principal), or 15+ years (Sr. Principal) of software engineering experience.
• Hands-on coding expertise with Python.
• Deep experience designing, building, and operating cloud-native applications on AWS, Azure, OCI, or GCP.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, scalability, resilience, performance optimization, and security.
• Proven track record of delivering high-reliability production systems using modern engineering practices, including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automated testing, and monitoring.
• Excellent system design skills and effective technical communication.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with Kubernetes, microservices architecture, event streaming, or platform engineering.
• Exposure to AI/LLM platforms, agentic systems, or developer platforms.
• Background in fintech, enterprise SaaS, or highly regulated environments.

Preferred Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in building enterprise-grade cloud applications within complex, regulated industries.

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work independently as a technical leader.
• Willingness to collaborate with diverse teams and adapt to evolving project needs.
• Relevant certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS certifications) are a plus.
